This depends on the type of game. Some games, like the DUPLO game, are better with a touchscreen. Some like NBA 2k25 or the latest TMNT games play much better with a controller because you have more buttons and aren't covering up the screen.
I'm pleasantly surprised how big the Switch 2 is. I wasn't prepared for that.
