I wouldn't bother with anything beyond Riven as they were not primarily made by Cyan. Exile was horridly designed with frustrating puzzles and art that wasn't user tested at all (I can click THAT???). The final world is such an obvious rush job that it really sours the already frustrating experience that lead up to it
I didn't hear good things about the later games either.
The 2021-2024 remakes are really good though you should play them. Lot of the puzzles changed and Rivens were made less obnoxious
