But naming a species after a person is still up for debate. I think everyone brings good points to the discussion. And there are a lot of dimensions to think about; practicality, history, tradition, equality, rules, etc.
That's the nature of science. People have to sit down and clearly state their arguments, and somehow we need to reach a consensus on how to move forward.
