I think that you people should watch the film Israelism.
There is Zionist hegemony in many mainstream Jewish institutions, in the same way there is pro capitalist hegemony in the Democratic party or your local college's economics department.
Are there dissidents? Yes!
If there is a difference of opinion on something, then it is essentially guaranteed that Jewish people will argue about it. It's even a part of Jewish religious tradition.
But does that mean there isn't a predominant opinion within a group of people? No!
Zionism gained the popularity it now enjoys because, in the aftermath of the Holocaust, it demonstrated itself to be the easiest and most conservative solution for the issue of where to put refugees. This is because of its compatibility with European colonialism, the bourgeois-nationalist Westphalian consensus, and the capitalist world system.
A pro-Israel consensus emerged in the decades after 1945, and it's been kept alive by mainstream Jewish institutions ever since. Sometimes, things like the invasion of Lebanon shake this up, but it's not been enough to make it fall apart.
