Back in 2023, people had this crazy notion that when #thenostr seemed dead, you could revive it by posting more notes. Wild, right?
Anyhow... my dinner tonight is Thai-inspired pork and broccoli, with leftover rice from the power-outage-inspired Chinese takeout dinner I had yesterday 😅
I grew every vegetable in this dish, plus most of the spices and aromatics in the sausage. I ground and mixed the sausage from pork I bought from a friend. The only things I know for sure came from a grocery store are the lime juice & fish sauce in my makeshift prik nam pla, which is made with jalapeños because I have harvested at least 100 peppers in the last 3 weeks... oh, and some yellow curry powder.
