Dear website owners,
Asking me to make a "free" account - using a valid email - is asking me to give up my privacy and asking for access to my life via that email. Claiming that isn't a paywall is false. If you do that - claim a free account isn't a paywall - I will stop visiting and not link to you.
I really miss the old web, when we made websites to share our joys. Turning the web into a commercial enterprise, then poisoning ads to the point where they don't pay for anything, was a mistake.
