"content": "FIRST #MONARCH (that I have seen) IN MY YARD! \n\nWoooo! 🥳\n\nI learned in a class the other day that particularly for common milkweed, it's important to plant it toward the edges of your property, because monarchs use *visual* cues to find it. So they really need to see the entire plant, not obscured by any other plants.\n\nI let asclepias syriaca grow at-will in my front yard for this reason. Some of my #Asclepias gets to be between 10 and 13 feet tall!!! \n\nThis year, it's not blooming as robustly as I would expect, though.
