Trying to get my friends from my youth to join a Signal chat group instead of Facebook group. They’re great guys, but they think I’m a conspiracy guy for not wanting to be on FB, Snap, Insta, TikTok etc.
After 8 months I’ve managed to persuade 6 out of 8. They are not happy with installing a new app, but occasionally engage.
Haven’t mentioned Nostr yet, that seems far fetched at this point.
(For reference: We’re all Gen X / Millennials)
