I'm running the GOG version of *The Witcher: Enhanced Edition*—a 2008 release—on Bazzite Linux at 1440p. I’m not using Steam either; I’m launching it through Heroic.
To say I’m impressed would be an understatement. The game runs flawlessly—every bit as smooth and stable as it does on Windows.
So let’s put this myth to rest: the idea that *only* Steam games run well on Linux is flat-out false. The era of needing Windows to play PC games? It’s over.
