Ever get it stuck in a fly trap, here's what you do to not have to cut your hair:
1) Hot water and soap - scrub scrub scrub, rinse
(Thinning and spreading)
2) coconut oil - melt and scrub it in, rinse.
(The glue attaches to the coconut oil molecules)
3) coconut oil again
4) shampoo
5) conditioner
Speaking from experience.
