Thought I would build my downstream kernel for fun. Downloaded 16.06 Ubuntu, loaded up gcc and gnueabihf version 4.9 on it + other necessary build tools, and passed the appropriate ARCH, CC, HOSTCC, and CROSS_COMPILE variables to make. Recent versions of Ubuntu couldn’t get gcc4
I think it’ll be useful, since there are a lot of files that I don’t understand in the downstream kernel. I’m going to remove files that aren’t necessary to builds and then run ctags
