If you want an indicator of how the Overton Window shifts which political approaches are seen as acceptable and which are rendered as marginal & unacceptable... Trump has referred to some Democrats in the US as belonging to the Radical Left.
While there are some Democrats who are certainly on the Left, the notion that any views of any Democrats are from the 'radical left' shows that the Overton Window has moved to the Right, where the radical Right is normalised!
