This brings back my memories of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. I was carrying puppies into the house and my mom came running out and grabbed my hand so hard it hurt my knuckles. But she kept me and the puppies safe from the contents of the cabinets headed toward the floor. My brother was under a car doing an oil change and thought our dad was shaking the car. He was instructed to get out! The straight trees had a few bends to them as I looked toward the sky.
