Lebanon's Aoun on Israel Framework
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun: A framework agreement with Israel "does not legitimize the continued existence of the occupation, and allows the Lebanese army to deploy its control over all the territories of the country."
On the decision to separate the Lebanese file from the U.S.–Iran negotiations, Aoun said it is "a problem for those who are used to being subject even though it is dictated to us, decided for us, and negotiated on our behalf."
