Again, my suggestion is a server the podcaster or host controls that the data gets sent to. It's private, they can choose their own method of storage or display of the data, and if they choose to make it public, their server can very easily repost it as a nostr note. It seems like a good solution that offers the most control and flexibility. The down side is it requires a server to send to, but RSS requires a server to serve the files anyway, so it's not a big lift.
