if you can do a handful of steps (like 3-6) the high level street car is great fun and has some amazing views!
It’s a little expensive but you can get a few drinks (booze or non) on the Hotel MacDonald patio.
Both are more late spring/summer/early fall activities.
I do find Fringe to be super inspiring but it’s definitely time bound.
Cold weather is tougher but I really enjoy the Edmonton Opera.
