I find the sociological aspects of BIP-110 to be far more interesting than the technical aspects. 110 supporters admit it's not a technical solution; the BIP itself admits it can't stop arbitrary data.
But what's fascinating is the Bitcoin Puritans claim they are trying to fix "Bitcoin Culture" at the "social layer" by rejecting "woke Core developers."
What's amusing about this is I see little difference between puritans and the woke folk they detest. AFAICT the only distinction is which particular attributes each group uses to select people for cancellation.
