Perhaps try out nano claw instead of open claw. I really struggled with open claw set up as well, and was worried about privacy concerns. Since i am not coding literate but am moderately technical, anthropic claude code has been a game changer for me. I don't know enough to use claude code to build stuff directly, so having an agent that just works and runs on claude code is enough for me. Good luck
