My late husband and I both forgot our 16th wedding anniversary as we were too preoccupied with moving house. We moved on the actual day and finally remembered in the evening. We celebrated by eating excellent fish and chips from our new local chippie, washed down with champagne from the off licence, amid boxes of packing.
