Times when Nolan's habit of centering everything feels detrimental to the storytelling:
it's kind of boring that when Ra's al Ghul is teaching Bruce about the art of distraction & deception that everything is right there in the center of the frame.
This seems like a time that would call for slightly more visual complexity. It also feels like we should just see *more*. These are just very short little insertions with a Liam Neeson voiceover in the middle of a fairly visually dull swordfight.
