Interesting... Contravenes what every venezolano I've spoken to in person says... Almost all prefer her (and not the hostages that couldn't flee), to that piece of garbage that got crushed in the last election but refused to peacefully cede power.

That being said, I just hope we, the USA can work with either the previously elected regime or whomever wins a new round of (hopefully more open and fair) elections, to help the people of Venezuela.

Most venezolanos say Americans should keep their opinions favoring Maduro to themselves, as he is nearly universally despised except among the leftists. Just my two sats, from real world talking...
