I'm curious how you find battery SoC reporting. For LiPo all other clients have a linear function from 4.2V to 3.0V. It isn't very accurate. Many users report companion die at 30-40% of the battery SoC because they typically die between 3.4 and 3.5V.
I've tweaked it to have two breaking points: 4.0V/90%, 3.6V/10%. It should show below 10% SoC when the companion is about to die. But I don't have many samples to try it on.
