It's a pattern that I've noticed lately both in FAANG-level companies like the one I work as well as startups.
We've reached the point where these companies themselves are now strongly encouraging their employees to use AI.
They have realized that their requests don't make any sense. They have realized that you can't be on top of all this stuff by knowing it on top of your head. But they don't care - they still want to cut costs while maintaining their revenue constant (or higher).
So they have realized that the only possible way is to delegate more and more to AI.
They don't care if by doing so they reduce the problem solving skills of their own employees, nor that they'll have to spend time investigating stuff that they haven't even written.
