I hear you about free-market capitalism, but trump, esp. in his 2nd term, hasn't been acting like a free-market capitalist.
He has cut 'deals' with certain companies & has seemed to favor certain companies over others.
Further, the Fed, which is supposed to act independently from political influence, plays a significant role in banking industry oversight. It has several working parts & people, not 1 dude who will act on his feelings & political interests concerning monetary policy.
