#AI is underwhelming me somewhat. I still think that the technology is cool at a theoretical level, but it's disappointing just how...well, disappointing, it is.
People at my workplace keep telling me to use #AI for my work, yet every time I try, it always gives me mistakes that I have to fact check, and then fix. And this is with enterprise level access to #Claude, #GPT, and #Deepseek through the #IT department.
Like, if you want to generate something that isn't based on fact, it works fine. Like random trivial conversations, for example, or dummy text. I have a personal project which would benefit from generating, essentially, fandom dialogue at scale, which I might use #AI for.
I admit that it's good at analysis too. But other than that, I really can't think of any #AI tool I know of that can do anything particularly useful for me.
