myrmepropagandist (npub1ppe…qv2g) it seems you know a lot about ants. I garden from a sort of soil food web and regenerative bottom up sort of way. but outside the ant-aphid issue that pops up here that i basically wash off my garden plants. have you ever found a sort of cooperative garden way to encourage ants without it leaning over into hurting our produce or a sort of rough guide lines for thinking about it and the benefit it provides? kind along the logic of release beavers into a ecosystem and they are water engineers and bring it back to life. i get sense some of it is just space. Like not too close to the garden but not sure what you might add?
