People will pay whatever they want for whatever bullshit in front of them. This doesn't make it not fungible.
If I have two Denarius and tell people that one of then was touched by Julius Caesar, some people will pay 1000x more for the one touched by Julius Caesar haha this doesn't make gold more or less fungible. Thus, this argument is weak.
