Just a public service announcement for administrators of federated instances whether they be #Mastodon, #PeerTube, #Lemmy, or whatever:
If your SSL certificate expires, *please* get that fixed ASAP. It not only prevents people from using your website very easily, it also breaks federation. Server logs get clogged up with SSL errors and other admins need to purge accounts or servers from their follower/following lists to clean those up. Please be proactive.
