I would call that slightly inaccurate. Anna Kindy won, but some two thousand Green Party supporters spoiled their ballots to give her the win, rather than voting strategically to avoid a worst-case outcome.
It’s sad if they thought they were making a statement, because it’s one no one will ever hear.
