I'm asking because I'm thinking of going back to church, but I'm so tired of evangelicals & the Papacy never ever sat well with me.
My mom raised us ecumenical, honest? Multifaith. She died singing traditional worship songs to Jesus.
My grandma was Jewish, so were both my grandparents on my dad's side, but all of my grandparents "converted" to both Catholicism & Adventism to fit in in the "New Spain."
My Mother was an amazing woman. She believed and never gave up her faith.
This both demoralizes me, knowing so much I can't even share without breaking myself into pieces over it; & it reminds me that I have no right to lose the faith to which my mother so fervently held on.
We are struggling so much mentally & physically.
I must go to church.
My husband is opening to the idea to attend, & I want to find the way to get my father in law to go as well.
There is one we could go to while in Sonoma County. I will have to fin another one for when we're in Tubac. (we're split-living between CA & AZ...kinda...)
I am curous, especially when it comes to church services, like how much they differ from Catholic Mass.
