I had tried to suggest doing the exterior work over the past few days, given the good weather. They wanted to leave everything until the very end.
Today they started the exterior work, and it's starting to rain.
I'm not sure whether that's Murphy's Law or poor planning. Either way, I'm feeling better, and that reassures me more than anything else.
They are amazed by my NetBSD system for controlling the boiler. They say some clients have asked for "cloud-free" solutions, and now they're starting to understand why, once it was explained to them clearly.
Who knows, maybe a collaboration will come out of it...
