Thinking of Vienna, seeing it make the list again of top 10 liveable cities.#2 this year, displacing Copenhagen.

My take was that indeed, it is quite walkable, around the city center, at least.

Everything is big, at grand scale, churches, palaces, & parks. Good trains & buses. Very spread out.

My biggest difficulty - as a tourist/visitor, was with communication (bus drivers, e.g.), not speaking the language. But trains were my friend.
