Conscious experience of time is continuous, but time itself (process, coordinate, object) must be discrete. I think continuous is the proper word.

Language does matter. I think this whole thing is a language problem because Bitcoin is one domain of many. Language must return to source.

Time must halt logically for conservation to be upheld, internally the halt can never be perceived. The ulterior perspective demands a quantized halt for binary logic to emerge, it is the only solution to the double spend problem (truth/non-contradiction).
