The problem is not tap-to-click. The problem is palm rejection not working properly with tap-to-click on these MacBooks. Never had any issues with tap-to-click on my previous laptop (HP Envy x360 13). I love tap-to-click but I'm forced to turn it off to have a usable experience at all on Asahi Linux, otherwise typing is pretty much impossible.
