Broke one of my favourite bowls by dropping it on top of the gas stove top. A fair sized piece fell behind the range where it can stay for all eternity as far as i am concerned. There are still tiny fragments scattered across the stovetop which are going to have to wait till someone visits and they can move the heavy cast iron bits (not sure what they're called).
Many sweary words were said.
Dishwasher unstacked with no further mishap and dinner on its way to being done.
