A LIFE UPDATE:
June 10, 2026 @ 12:55 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ This week I am working (and yes, it is work) on regaining control of my emotions and my daily activities. I don't know which needs to come first - ie, if my feelings are under control my daily life will follow, or the other way around - so I'm doing both, as well as I can. I am progressing well enough in my therapies that yesterday was my last speech therapy and that is such a positive thing that it is a good place to start. In addition, some of my goals are being met (able to, and starting to enjoy again, gardening, cooking, playing my keyboard, and even picking up my ukuleles) and it's only been a year tomorrow since my TBI occurred. I've had a huge setback with the loss of my precious, beautiful, and much beloved friend Annette, and taking time to grieve. What I'm still in that process, and miss her more than words can say, I do take comfort in the fact that she is exactly where she has been longing to be, in the arms of the Lord she loves so much! We have had many discussions about it and I'm fully aware of that, which is the most comforting thing to me as the Spirit continues to heal my heart. So still a lot of work to day BUT it is progress and I'm not feeling quite as lost, sad, and helpless as the last year has been.
I plan to work again on my meme galleries and other blog postings that have become part of what I have done here over the last 6 years. I will also start doing things a little differently, as in changing the format a bit, but that will be happening over time.
