Great write-up! I think about that stuff every time some company or institution I'm dealing with directs me to their Facebook page or their Twitter profile. I don't want to need a Facebook account or Twitter account to get the latest updates from my kids' schools, or see what the latest developments are in my community. An open solution is a much better choice. I'm hoping you get some traction. Fingers crossed!
