My father's Toshiba laptop from 2011 is live and, well, not well but usable. It has been a desktop device long before its screen gave up. It is still being used to this day, and knowing my dad, its uptime is best mentioned in months. Funny thing is that, it runs Solus rather than Ubuntu or Fedora. Solus of all distros showed better reliability on this device.
