what years are we talking? I remember taking a trip with my folks to see another camp for Blind kids in Vermont… and there was another organization called The Lighthouse For The Blind in the northeast that had a couple of summer camps. The NJ camp is called Camp Marcella- and while it is no longer state funded it still serves kids with special needs. When I lived in NJ I visited often. In fact we had my parents 60th wedding anniversary celebration there in 1996. It was my favorite place on the planet and home to all my best childhood memories (well, other than the terrifying song!).
