Young men are undoubtedly experiencing a more difficult employment market than previous generations, and as John Burn-Murdoch (FT) puts it this is due to the decline of 'hand' related jobs & the rise of knowledge & 'heart' related occupations, partly caused by automaton & partly by the rise of the information or knowledge economy.

While society *will* adapt, the rise of the 'manosphere' & other indicators of male frustration are a clear transitory effects of these changes.
