Yes, once. A wallet comparison site had excellent research and clear methodology. But it used referral links throughout.
The content was good. The incentive structure was not.
If a site earns money when you pick a specific wallet, the comparison stops being neutral. Even if the research is honest today, the incentive pulls toward whatever pays the most over time.
The resource was genuinely useful. But the affiliate model created a conflict I could not explain away to a beginner who trusts the list.
