It is a very strange and awkwardly long gesture of dominance, while he called president trump “the first Jewish” president. Extremely inappropriate behavior never done before. Especially given the fact that Trump started bombing Iran on the behalf of Israel against the will of his voting base just months later.

Not sure why you would see this as normal. Name another time someone has publicly done this to a president on national television…
