Today I met with my husband's highschool girlfriend. He didn't feel up to going to see her.
She seems kind. I gave her his phone number so the can chat when he feels better.
I decided that today is the day to clear the weeds out from under our deck. Since there is only three feet of clearance I feel bad about asking my tall grandsons to help. Digging out huge ferns is a bugger. I got about a fifth of the space cleared for now.
Had to be done before it dries out and becomes more of a fire hazard.
Summer is my faithful helper bring gloves, tools and even an extra pair of shoes. Just in case.
Today she picked my 86 47 hat for me to wear.
Our power is out now so I'm not sure what the rest of the day will look like.
