One of my last visits, my primary care doc asked if she could use an AI transcription service. I asked her about it and she pretty convincingly explained that it gives her more time to actually spend with patients. Otherwise, it's less attention in the appointment and an equal amount of time as she spent with me afterwards writing it up. She said she always reviews the notes in detail and corrects them if there are errors. I ended up saying yes.
