Northrop N-23/YC-125 Raider trimotor transport. Looks pre-war, but was built in 1949 to replace pre-war Ford Trimotors. Lost out to the flood of cheap ex-military DC-3s. Several were built for arctic rescue when the US and Canada were building the DEW Line radar network. The rescue variant could carry JATO pods, which I think makes it the only rocket-assisted prop trimotor.
