I watch music videos on YouTube actively. Meaning I search for certain things, and then I watch entire videos.
What doesn't work for me is browsing timelines and then switch into the mood for watching a full-length video.
However, YouTube's algorithm and search function recently has become so shitty that have trouble finding what I want to see and I virtually never get a recommendation that would really be of my interest. Even the search results are apparently dominated by the algorithm more than by the matching of keywords and results.
