I’m on the far north side of the Houston metro area, but this photo is from December. We had that very warm weather persisting through the autumn and these strawberry plants that had stopped producing in the more intense summer heat all started blooming & producing fruit - which the squirrels immediately devoured. That said, most of those same plants survived the one big freeze we had in January and are right now blooming again.
