Personally, I don't believe we can work within this system to repair the damage this system has done, BUT it would be useful in the short-term if we could have some actually honest folks who will actually work to help people in political office. It won't solve the crisis, but it could alleviate some pain.
So I get that. It's why I got excited for Francesca Hong. I thought "this woman might actually do some good & might actually try to represent me." I thought that would be kind of neat.
