I think the biggest pain point for regular people was the concept of instances (and maybe the fediverse as a whole) and also selecting "the right instance".
Bluesky is centralized and therefore closer to the Twitter experience 🤔
I've never looked into bsky at all since I've found more pleasant interactions and topics here in the fediverse. Way more pleasant than Twitter ever was!
