I would love it if we could talk about how to actually improve urban transit without everyone picking a damn side.
There's only one way forward: grade-separated heavy rail metro/subway systems supported by feeder bus lines.
Everything else is a damn distraction.
Nothing else can move enough people quickly enough to qualify as useful in the modern world.
Freeways suck. Cars suck. Bicycles are great but not gonna cut it by themselves, and so-called "micromobility" is fucking useless e-waste.
